thank you very much, yes it is a very sticky brown liquid, i will try to find one

If it is leaking a brown sticky fluid it is the capacitors leaking. The capacitor physically leaks its liquid electrolyte which will cause a weak and eventually failing. My advice would to replace the ECM before it fails and strands you. Good Luck

leaking electronic control module

I just found the ECM located behind the battery is leaking some kind of really sticky fluid? I don't think this is normal, Has anybody encountered this. It's a 1997 Fireblade
