You are loosing 1-2hp with any bolt on. If you want to gain hp you must use full system, dyno jets and K&N filters.

This Yoshi pipe rock! Everybody know that Yoshi work more with Suzuki, but that don't make their Honda pipes worthless
the K&N is generally regarded as bad for the fireblade. some say it loses power

Re: New to Fireblades.org have exhaust question.....

Newbie too.Have an 02 954 W/stock can, look'in for just bolt on for little more sound. Preformance around here is already enough to get me in trouble.Did that on my 929 2 yrs ago.Did undertail mod & seat cowling, have zero gravity double bubble to install tonite.Bought it new off EBay Fro m an Ill. Honda Dealer this past may. Didn't expect to get it for what I did, Then had to tell wifey that "I got some good news for me & bad news for you!!" Oh well got it shipped here no problems & it's F*&^%$# WAY Better then the 929 !!! So I'm afraid to Imagine what that 1000RR is Like!!! I'm NOT EVEN Gonna THINK ABOUT IT Been a member of HSBN for awhile found this board from a a post over there. Seems like alot of really nice people @ both sites W/ lots of Great info & interesting thoughts, ideas & costructive comments.Looking fwd to reading & hopefully posting some helpful knowledge
