I can attest that my butt is still in the same (bad) shape it was previously.

Thanks for askin'! It's going well. As soon as I stopped moving it as much it became much less sore. It's not red at all. Very little crusty stuff. I almost don't notice it anymore. Until I hook it on a shirt as I'm putting in on or something.

Last night my dog head butted me right on the barbell. Man that hurt.

Other than that, it's going well. I like it.

here are some pics. I'm still ugly, but I liked it, and so did Chain's little freaky chick. And she WAS freaky. Sorry buddy!

Now wait a second a guy with a voluntary rod in his eyebrow is calling someone freaky Surely she ain't that bad.

Look into getting some H2Ocean for cleaning it. It's a salt water spray. My place had just started selling it when I got my last piercing and I don't know how I lived without it before!!! This stuff is GREAT! It says it helps with the healing process and I have to admit that cleaned up an infection I got within 2 days. I still do the sea salt soaks when needed but this is way easier to throw in my bag and take with me everywhere.

Good luck!

I'm just using some sea salt that we use to cook w/ as Walgreen's didn't have any. The dude that did the piercing just told me to use ear care antiseptic which I have also been doing. He said not to bother w/ the soaking and sea salt stuff as that part of your body is no different than the ears. I don't know, I figure better safe than sorry. The shot glass w/ water on my eyebrow didn't work to do the soak, so I've just been dipping cotton balls into the water and holding them on there. You think that's probably okay?

I'm new to all this deviant behavior. Thanks again all.

HD,

move it AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE. That'll make it sore and irritate it. Can make it longer to heal too, depending on how much you move it. Just soak it, any crusties that wanna come off, cool, a wet Q tip will remove them. But if they are stubborn or don't come off VERY easily, LEAVE them there. They'll come off the next time you soak. The cotton ball in the water is fine, you just gotta change them out every 2-3 minutes. Do this 5-10 times, depending on how long you soak each.

It'll be a pain in the ass for the next few weeks, but it'll be worth it when you have no issues.

Now, go get your nipples done and find out about some pain.

Dunno what bactine is, but it sounds like a chemical. I definitly wouldn't do that. My GF used hot sea salt water with cotton balls on the inside and out of her's (nose piercing) and it healed nicely. I definitly recommend that. I have had 8 piercings and never used anything but warm sea salt water and I haven't had an issue with any of them.

If you get a keloid, use BC powder, make a paste with it and apply overnight. If that doesn't get it, neosporin will...

{ccwilli3 dumbass mode on} But this is usually weeks after, when the piercing is fine and a dumba$$ like myself decides one day to stop soaking because its fine and bam, get a keloid... {ccwilli3 dumbass mode off}

IMHO, it's always easier to get CBR piercings to heal than it is curved barbells...but sounds like you're doing it right.
