i found a set i like HOWEVER they are 8.5's instead of the stock 9.5's. i dont know if i want to lose the width.

anybody went down a size on tires and had issues?

also what is a good replacement for the goodyear F1?

they are offering nitto 404's in size 255/55 and Toyo Proxes in the same size

my stock wheel is a 295/45 what am i going to lose?

As far as Powdercoating, I have around 20K miles on my 929 wheels since getting them shot white. You know as well as anyone that they arent easy miles.

Yeah I thought powder coating was more of an electric/static bond with a heat cure. I didn't think it was hot enough to effect any metal that made up the rim/wheel...

I didn't think the oven heat for powder coat was that hot..~375-400

Never heard that. I know people that have had marchesini magnesium wheels powdercoated...and had no issues. That's a damn fragile wheel too.

if she's messing up rims now make sure you don't get an easily breakable rim. soft metals would probably be a bad choice. go to a local car parts place (not autozone something like an accessories place) and flip through some catalogs.
