I play Halo2 quite a bit - etherealstalker is my tag. I'm not very good, only an 8, but I have fun Though if it's a "king" match It's a pretty good bet I'll win it...

Re: Next Generation XBox Debut

I agree - never really termed myself as a 'gamer' per se, I rarely finish games...and rarely play them when it's warm out, but I do own a Gen2 PS2 and last gen Xbox and ~15 games for each (my threshold before they hit ebay). That alone gets me some mileage, but even with someone like me that gets bored quick - I still feel like it's too soon.

Much like the sportbike market, supply+demand...www & HDTV put some demand on the table for current systems and they aren't being met, so what better time to doll it up and make a buck.

Its wierd too, being a gamer all my life, I am usually really excited about new systems coming out but not really with the new xbox or ps3. I am still REALLY happy with the current setup and am enjoying alot of the games that are still coming out. i say wait another 2 years

Re: Next Generation XBox Debut

IMO there is no need to get new counsels out yet. The ps2 and xbox are still plenty Strong. I still think they should wait another few years before the next gen systems come out.

Re: Next Generation XBox Debut

will they debut the "after we've met our reveal/fanatical/we're making sure we target the christmas market early" numbers at the same time?

aka - price drop 1? I prefer to buy at 2 but usually the bug gets if they could just go ahead and announce the first one and what/when, that'd be great. Thanks for coming in today.

OTOH - I can't beleive MTV would show something not related to music
