Re: Litescribe: Who has one?

I have an epson R200 that besides being a kick butt photo printer also prints on printable cd/dvds. Works very well

Re: Litescribe: Who has one?

Got it finally. The drivers didn't come with the software.

This thing kicks serious butt!!! Sure beats trying to write stuff on the CD with a marker or messing with labels

Re: Litescribe: Who has one?

Ok...maybe I'm missing something here, but I can't get the software that came with it to make the label for the CD It keeps wanting to send it to my printer and when I look in the help file/documentation for the software, the options they describe aren't there.

How did you get yours to work, willi?

Just got a Lightscribe DVD-R at work. I'll be testing as soon as I'm done loading software

Re: Litescribe: Who has one?

Best Buy has the discs, I just saw some there. They are only marginally more expensive than no litescribe discs...

Looks like I'll be one of the first to give it a go...

Yes, different media (3M, Imation, Veratim all make it) and specific software, which is available (I think) from the litescribe site...

Litescribe: Who has one?

anyone got a CD/DVD drive with lightscribe?

It writes design on the non-data side of your disc after burning (you flip it) and you no longer have to write on them by hand or use a sticker...

Anyone already got one? Seems like a really interesting way to label CD's, makes them look more professional too. I'm thinking of pouncing on a Firewire one for my laptop from Lacie.
