Hehe...not yet. But it might.

It never really did anything wrong though, I broke it because I was pissed at it...but it did turn out to be operator error.

I have one of those to. It has been in a cabinet for a year since I bought an epson photo r320 though. The Xerox eats ink like mad but does do quality stuff. Great all in one but is kinda slow with full page color documents.

Re: Home Office "All in Wonders"

Well, decided for the price of the color laser all in ones, I might as well go with separates.

I bought a Brother, but it came with a tweaked frame and the printer never thought it was closed in the back. 2 hours later, that bitch was returned, and I swore I'd never give that Fry's another dime of my biz.

I got a OKI C5500n and I'm really happy with it. The main reason I chose it over the others was the ability to handle photo glossy paper, transparencies (though I haven't made any in a couple of years), do banners, cards, full size legal...most color laser, including the Brother I got, only do 8.5x11" regular paper.

The toner cost varied wildly between machines, and OKI seemed to be the cheapest there, with my favorite look on the page, it's nice and glossy.

The Konica/Minolta had a bit better resolution...but that was all it had going for it. Toner replacements were more than triple, and like the Brother and HP, only did plain 8.5x11" paper.

Re: Home Office "All in Wonders"

I have a big ol HP that i have networked. I also hate the damb update crcap and the fact i can't just add the printer on my network without the softwar. wonder what is going to happen when i bring the BSD box back to life...

A friend just bought one of the brother all in one units. he seems pretty happy with it. It is not the fastest but it does everything my 400.00 hp does.

Yeah, my all-in-one is HP, a bottom end unit. Eats ink like it's a hemi.

I'd suggest a 2410 or above if you go with HP.

Yes, they do make a good product. Most of their stuff is B/W laser, but they do have color units on both ends of the spectrum. Their color laser is near $800 and their ink color unit is under $200.
