Everything on the bike looks great. I don't really like how stubby the tail is though. If it was more like an 08 R6 tail it would be siiiick.

Re: 954 street fighter ?

Hey guys,
I've been looking through the forums looking for some "how to" information on converting a CBR 954 into a streetfighter. What goes, what stays, etc. I don't stunt, but I like the look. I see pics of other's projects or light recommendations etc., but I need some straight forward info. ( take this part off, leave this part on, you'll need a new one of these, etc.) with pics if possible. Not sure if it exists yet... but what the hell? Ask and ye shall receive? I've already removed both side fairings, now I'm starting to think about how to proceed after I remove the front fairing and the headlight. What parts will I need for the conversion, what do I mount the new headlights to, how do I electrically connect the new headlights, etc.? I have no idea what I'm getting myself into here, but I'm about to figure it out. If you guys know of any good threads I could read through or any helpful info. at all, please shoot some knowledge my way. I'd really appreciate it. I promise to post pics. Thanks,

The Mad Max look is fantastic. I even rattle-canned my old sick-dog CX500 with some heat-resistant grill paint and bolted a belt-fed ammunition canister on the back for hauling a six of bottled beer now and then. Ahhh...pre-crazy Mel Gibson, once you were great.

I don't mind a nice looking street fighter, but this one just doesn't look "finished". Interesting swap on the front end though.

I don't like the "customs' either (the ones buried in chrome with headlights off a Klingon Bird of Prey etc.).
