I run the standard issue aluminum safe anti-freeze from the auto store. In the summer I plan on changing over to WaterWeter mix with anti-freeze and water.

Whatever you get, make sure it's compatible with aluminum blocks. Not all car antifreeze is. I use the Honda premix. For track use, I switch to water + water wetter, which is not antifreeze so it must be changed back in the Winter. Not necessary if you're not going to the track.

i like the maxima pre-mix, and over half the price less of the engine ice.

i know water wetter is but i thought engine ice wasnt

I run engine ice. legal for the track and still works as "Ati-freeze" not cheep though.
