Re: I hit some Railroad tracks REALLY hard!!

If I knew how to post pics I would show you all what I am talking about. There was a 90 degree left w/an incline at the crest of the incline were the rr tracks, (already installed) with a HUGE pothole in front of the metal rail. I hit the pot hole thus causing me to strike the rail even at slow speed under 20 it almost flipped me over the bike!!!

This is who I use to straighten rims in the midwest. Extreme Cycle - Repair & Service of Cycles, ATV, Dirt or Street

He's not exactly speedy, but very reasonably priced and does good work. Ask for Brian.

were these rr tracks that they had piled up getting ready to install??? I couldn't imagine hitting tracks that are that bad even at slow speeds

I like to ride with my eyes closed and see how far I can go before I hit something.

I have a front wheel if you are interested. I bought an 02 54RR about a month ago and the guy had put Chrome wheels on is and kept the stock ones. [email protected] if interested.

Ouch, if you hit them that hard, it probably didn't feel real good. You've probably checked eBay but if not, that's where I always start. There was a thread on wheel straightening the other day, here's the link...
