Remember....its not all about how new the bike is....sometimes people pay extra to have something that you can't buy anylonger....like a perfectly MINT 929, especially a Erion Edition.

Bottom line, just buy what makes you happy or you want...not what other people want.
true ,down here in FL, it's basically 'riding season' all year long !

I just bought a Erion with 13K miles for 5800. I would jump all over the one your looking at with those low miles on it.

Re: 01' 929 with 3500 miles.

i bought my 01 929 for $4,500 cash(guy was asking $5,300 in the auto trader ),with just under 34k miles on the clock.Bike has a ton of extras on it, and is clean. You could get a 954 for around $6k if you look around.I just checked the book on a stock 01 929 was around $5,700'ish ,stock ! Mine has chrome wheels, swingarm, levers,Carbon fiber gas cap,Carbon fiber frame covers, billet aluminum frame sliders,D&D polished slip on,Harris grips,Chrome bar ends,Clear Alternatives led tail light conversion,-1 front sprocket,Vortex rear sprocket ,etc.etc.....you get the point.Good deals are out there if you are just willing to take the time to look and be patient, i did. The current book on your 01 929 Erion is around $5,940 'stock' .So with that low of miles ,the guys starting price is fairly accurate ,cash is a powerful negotiating tool ,remember that and you can probably get that bike around mid to upper $5000's .Make an offer ,can't hurt to try.If the guy says no ,then go a little higher and see if he bites. It's all about negotiation my friend, you can either try it,or pay full price ,it's your choice. If the bikes super clean and you like it,make him a cash offer of $5400 on the spot and see what he says, he'll counter and you take the deal from there.Either way, book from a dealer is around $5,940....Good luck, here's the link oh yeah, one more thing your seller has going for him to keep the price up is the lower than average milage for the year.....Still negotiate,it can't hurt

Unbelievably low miles....kind of odd...6 is probably not too bad if the bike does truly have 3500 miles

I am going to look at a 29 with 3500 miles Erion edition. Not many mods but overall clean looking bike. What do you think it is worth? He is asking $6k. Sounds good to me. Thanks ahead of time,

Nick
