Re: WTB Cheetah M25 Motorcycle Laser Jammer

The M50 is an obsolete number, I purchased my last one 4 years ago, the new number is in fact M25 (2 antenna). I called and their price now is $425.00. I may have something that you can use if 1 antenna will work for you. 1 antenna is all I ever use and its in the front. If your interested let me know and I will check what I have and give you a price.

You told me to call someone, that I couldn't get a better price then what I spoke of however referrals do count.

Sorry if I miss-understood you.

I tried researching m50 but couldn't find anything useful .

If the m50 does the exact same as the M25 cheetah for $350.00 then I can do that.

Forgot to add, the last time I purchased a Blinder it was the M50 (2 antennas) I paid $349.00.

Re: WTB Cheetah M25 Motorcycle Laser Jammer

I have a couple of them that I transfer around from bike to bike. I won't leave home without it. I also run with a Beltronics RX65, thinking about getting a GX65. Call Blinder Extreme Series at 866-622-7219 or 772-219-9887, they are Blinder dealers and they are great people to deal with. Its run by Leon and his wife, tell them that Bill Green from North Palm Beach referred you. That ain't gonna get you a better price, but referrals are just good business.

But CA has no jurisdiction over the airwaves.

Well, that's a bit like saying if a state tries you for kidnapping, you'd go free because there's a federal law covering kidnapping.. Don't think so.

Re: WTB Cheetah M25 Motorcycle Laser Jammer

It would still be regulation of the spectrum. Eventually someone will challenge the law and CA will find themselves in a world of hurt.

One could strike the law down on the radar jammer issue a lone; it is a federal offense, not a state offense.

Re: WTB Cheetah M25 Motorcycle Laser Jammer

Exactly. Since FDA doesn't care about laser jammers, the states are free to apply their own regulation (for or against).

Re: WTB Cheetah M25 Motorcycle Laser Jammer

The FCC says no to radar jammers. The FDA doesn't care about laser jammers. That spectrum is controlled my the FDA.

Re: WTB Cheetah M25 Motorcycle Laser Jammer

I don't know about California having the market cornered on stupid laws. Heh - you ever read Texas' law concerning obscenity? (Suffice to say if you have more than 5 of a certain types of adult toyz [not a Blade!!!], it's a felony.) Or the one that makes it illegal to milk another person's cow? (what a crime!!!!)

I do understand your reasoning which makes a lot of sense.. However, there's at least one reason on the "why": The Constitution leans towards states regulating things, unless there's a federal statute in place (this is why murder is a state crime, not a federal crime - there's no federal statue covering murder).

The FCC does regulate the airwaves, and to that end, even has a specific set of rules (code, folks, not law) about malicious interference - which is the category that radar jammers fall into.. Radar detectors are not specifically disallowed, which means states can regulate that aspect (and there's only a couple notables that disallow radar detectors).

Laser jammers have the same kind of relationship - the FDA regulates lasers, but, since there are no federal laws allowing laser jammers, individual states can plump their own statutes/codes into place..

Re: WTB Cheetah M25 Motorcycle Laser Jammer

No other state is stupid enough like California to enact a law that they have no power to control.

Where did your local TV stations get the spectrum from? It was from the FCC; they handle the airwaves. if the states handles it, every state would be different.
