PCIIIr Stolen

I ordered a PCIIIr and a 9v power program module and it was delivered today and left on my porch but when I got home it was not there. So now we have an investigation going with UPS and the shipper. Probably will take up to 2 weeks to get either a replacement or refund.

I've had plenty of things delivered to my house and never had a problem.

What a PIA!!!

Thats the first thing Adam thought was that the UPS guy rides. I also thought maybe the mailperson, they come after the time of delivery. A lot of punk kids walk by my house on their way home from school, too.

I even went knocking on our neighbors doors just in case too.

I'm going to be keeping an eye on ebay for any new listings.

Hey, doesn't UPS require a signature in order to hand over the package?
I don't think they can just leave it for you.

First the forks and now this... If it weren't for bad luck you'd have no luck at'll. Sorry to hear this Alex, hope UPS can expedite your claim.

As far as home delivery goes unless you get the shipper to request/require a sig then they will not wait around for one (this is of course different for NDA). I have to deal with UPS on a daily basis and it can be quite frustrating.

Life always looks better through bugs on a face shield.

I guess it's different here in Canada. UPS requires a sig everytime they deliver. They attempt delivery twice, then leave you a card advising you to go pick it up.

Sorry to hear that Alex...hope it all works out.

Re: PCIIIr Stolen

I hate having things shipped to my house when I'm at work all day. But you know how Paypal is you have to ship to a confirmed address. What I do is to make sure they need a signature. Then they leave the little yellow tag on your door. You go online and enter the shipping number on the tag and have it forwarded to your work. You get it a day later but at least it's there.

Re: PCIIIr Stolen

I live on a small culdisac and have never had a problem. A nice older retired couple lives accross the street and watches out for things. Other than a little murder at the end of the block, no problems in 12 years.

I live on a cul-de-sac also. Are you implying that the murder involved a "small" person?
