Hover bike anyone?

Has anyone seen this yet? I just kinda stumbled across it.
Check out the link, they're building it so it handles something like a motorcycle.

I posted about it yonks ago and someone more recent. Looks like fun does'nt it?

I was young and stupid then. I'm old and stupid now.
We get too soon old, and too late smart.
I started off with nothing and still have most of it left.

Sorry for the recycle.
Hell yeah it looks fun!!!!!!
But you might need a parachute as part of your safety equipment, I read this thing can achieve altitudes of 10,000 feet.

The only reason to go up in a plane is to get the hell out of it

If the bike isn't braking properly, you don't start by rebuilding the engine.

Cool, no more tire / chain replacements, fork seals, dialing in suspension, etc!

Re: Hover bike anyone?

Just end up bouncing along the ground at 80 mph when it cuts out

That link is very NSFW though !!!

Hoverbike
The pic of the overbike tethered to the ground is old footage of a craft still in development, largely for unmanned/drone military use. Malloy Hoverbike ? Worlds first flying motorcycle ...would be awesome to see as a consumer product, but not likely any time soon.

Back when it was posted it might have been new, seeing that you responded to a 5 year old thread.

Still, hoverbikes are pretty interesting, and there's some rumours about Google's parent company investing in flying cars and whatnot.

Uber. From what I've seen on a couple news clips, they're betting their future on flying cars. Developing them, and being the first company to offer low flying taxi's.

Time to cue up a few old Jetson's cartoons.
