Re: What's your favorite beer?

Those are some pretty sorry choices.

I spent 10 years in Belgium so I'm pretty spoiled.

I voted fosters... Its second choice to be when I can't get killians' red. Now that is some good brew!

Re: What's your favorite beer?

Found out about these guys a few months ago:
Avery Brewing Company
I haven't tried any of their stuff, but a microbrewery of my surname can't be bad!

I've got a couple of t-shirts from them, along with coasters for my home.

Re: What's your favorite beer?

I don't consider most of the choices listed as beer. And the only real one is misspelled. It's 'Guinness'

My favorite, when I can get it, is Sierra Nevada Pale Bock. Otherwise Sierra Nevada Porter.

Re: What's your favorite beer?

I don't normally drink beer. But when I do, it's Bass Ale. It's the most potent NON bitter beer I've ever tasted.

Re: What's your favorite beer?

WTF?! *I only see one real beer up there. *The rest is horse piss.

I'm of two minds, I like a good Canadian beer or anything that is dark and Irish. *Those are the only ways to go. *I suspect Germany has some good beer as well, but outside of Heineken, I haven't tasted them.

Some good Canadian beers
Labatt Blue, 50 (the staple/default beer)
Alexander Keith's (Call it 'keets' when in Canadian bars or risk being laughed at...)
Moosehead Lager (Yeah, beer should be in a brown bottle but we'll make an exception)
Sleemans Cream Ale, Lager, Honey brown (John Sleeman, you make good beer)
Amsterdam Natural Blonde (on tap only)
Rickard's Red (only because it holds a special place in my heart)
Waterloo Dark (Where the sun don't shine)
[Edit2: Forgot to include this one]
Molson Canadian (Watch out for the Molson Mudslide...)

Dark and Irish
Kilkenny
Guinness
Murphy's
Caffery's (only when none of the above are on tap)

For those of you that like a good beer, you should join us in August for Beer Fest where you can try over 150 different brews for only pennies a glass. *yum.

As a tidbit of useless information, Trinidad has a beer named Stag. *It's slogan is 'A man's beer.' *So simple, so clever. *heh.

*J.

Heineken is Dutch. Try some Warsteiner.

Heineken is Dutch. *But the Germans have good beer. *Not as good as the Belgians, but good.

Damn, too slow!
