Re: Call me crazy....

I let a guy borrow my Pitbull this weekend to adjust his chain. He told me to take it out for a session, when I laughed, he said he was serious.....I turned him down because I knew I didnt want to pony up the bucks in case I tossed it....

Now I am really kicking myself.....

Jeezus that thing is beautiful....

Re: Call me crazy....

Ok, your Crazy!!! You shoulda just taken it easy, although that would be pretty tough to be riding a bike like that and hold back.

Re: Call me crazy....

You shoulda done it! *I took the dealer one out again last week. This time I snuck onto the expressway and wanted to open it up all the way...I hit some kind of built-in governor at 210-ish km/h and 'bout shat myself. Ergos are tough, and Guages and mirrors suck on that thing..would be better to use it on the track instead of the road IMO. Go adjust his chain again next week!

Re: Call me crazy....

I would have done the same thing. I have notoriously bad luck. $hit happens and it usually happens to me. That is a lot of money, not to mention the guilt I would have if I would have wrecked it.

Re: Call me crazy....

I wouldn't have done it either. For the same reason. Never take a bike out on the race track you are not prepared to turn into an aluminum/titanium/chromemoly pretzel with fiberglass bodywork as the salt.

Re: Call me crazy....

I woulda sat on it, took several racer pose pix, gotten off then thanked him.

I have the worst luck.

The one right beside me...directly across from you in the pits....Red 999, Tan 916, and a motard....2 hot babes...one was riding the motard...she also rode the 999 a few laps...

If I had to do it over again, I think I would have ridden the damned thing.....

Re: Call me crazy....

OK . . . I remember now. *One of the babes actually took of her leathers and had a thong on. *I think you might have been riding. *

I think I would have said no too. *I'd have been afraid of tossing it. The bike that is.
