Chain will like this...

I had a big spider hiding under the lip of my toilet bowl last night. Lucky for me, I noticed it before I sat down to read maxim, and drop the kids off at the pool.

Freaked me out though, like that movie "Arachnophobia" the little bastard looked pretty close to those. He didn't last with a toilet brush and a flush....then another flush for good measure.

Team Honda - well sorta...

Re: Chain will like this...

I read on an obscure website last night that some funny guy on the Omaha Police force was gonna hide spiders in the toilets at the police station for an April fools joke.

Did you guys find them all yet?

I was off yesterday and therefore wasn't subjected to such tomfoolery.

Re: Chain will like this...

Anybody hear that statistic about how many bugs people eat during their lifetime as they sleep? It's something like 400 mosquitos, 300 spiders, 300 flys, etc. The little guys just get too close to that nice warm wet place. No! Not THAT! A person's mouth.

Ever play jokes on people when they are sleeping? Put something in their mouths. No! Not THAT! Then watch their reaction. Most often they make an eating motion. I wonder if that's how the bugs get eaten... Hmmm..

I wonder how many spiders have crawled in to Chain's mouth while he's sleeping.

"The average human eats 8 spiders in their lifetime at night."

But I'd say that chain will have got more than his quota, its probably already up to 10.

The redback spider in Australia has a tendancy to hang out in toilets, but there is less instances of people, literally getting bitten on the arse, these days. And there hasn't been any deaths since the redback antivenom was introduced about 30 years ago.

Then there are the rest of the creepy crawlies

in fact we have 5 of the top 10 most deadly snakes

Anyone up for a holiday to Oz? Fret not, other than the funnel web, these critters stay clear of the major cities so no cause for alarm. Leave them alone (unlike some bloody crazy croc hunter guy) and they won't bother you.

Hey matt, during my first Aussie trip back in '89-'90 I was photographing tons of wildlife while there. One day in Western Australia I saw a snake crossing the highway around noon - hot as hell day, so it was odd the dumbass would even be out. Anyway, it was a King Brown Snake, a little over 2 meters long. I walk up to about 3' away to take a pic (in shorts and Tevas ) and just as I'm ready to click the shutter it flattened its neck, let out a loud hiss, struck sideways and landed about a foot from my feet. I backed up and used the telephoto
