IE problems

Ovr the past 3 days I have been experiencing a problem with Intrenet Explorer. Probably about 6 times in the past 3 days (while posting), I have received a message that says: "Internet Explorer has experienced a problem and needs to shut down. Do you want to report this error?" (or something like that). I have always responded "no" in the past, but it is becoming more frequent. Any advice?

Re: IE problems

No, but ironically enough, I just received my latest issue of PC World yesterday. One of the articles refers to the current patches for XP and I was planning on downloading this package tonight (but have not yet). Guess I'd better get humping!

Re: IE problems

Dump all your internet temp files. If that makes no difference then go get the latest version of IE (reinstall IE).

If none of that works go buy a Mac

Thanks!

edit: Actually scorch, I thought about what you suggested and realized it has been quite a while since I've purged. I just now went in and deleted cookies and files and cleared history. We'll see what happens from here .
