Re: CBR 600RR

My g/f picked up her 600RR on Friday and we rode back home from Canada with it and my 954. The 600RR is a great looking bike and I was surprised at how much different it was from the F4i, the handling is sooo nice it was almost too nice, I took a quick right turn and the bike turned in faster then my 954, you feel like you are sitting somewhere out over the front wheel but with total control. It has great power for a 600 with a nice big midrange. We are planning on a long ride on Sat. to stretch out the bikes legs and get some break-in miles...

Re: CBR 600RR

I agree Skully. Kwak is making some real comfy seats as well.

Buy a Sargent. You'll love it. I do mine!

Re: CBR 600RR

Crying about seats... You guys need to take that to the touring section of the forum!

j/k

I never ride mine more than 80 miles without a stop, so what do I know?

back to the 600RR. Got to see another one today at a dealer. There may be some changes coming to the ccwilli3 garage soon... Right after the memorial day weekend trackday sessions, I'm gonna start weighing the pros/cons of a possible switch!

ccwilli3, are you thinking of getting rid of the Blade??!!! Or did you mean to add a 600RR to use at the track?

I think the 600RR is the ****! What a beautiful bike! It would make a great addition to the stable!

It seemed like the reach was the same but the 600RR seat was worse than the 954 seat. The G1k seat felt like a Goldwing by comparison. Other than that the 600RR is a sweet machine.

I've thought about it but they both force you to the rear of the seat. *Since I'm a massive 5'8' I sit up against the tank so I don't think they'll work for me.

I don't have a blade anymore. The RC is my bike now, hence the 80 per tank comment...

And it would replace the RC, like my ladies, I'm a one bike kinda guy...
