Re: back under the knife

so i went back in this morning to get some more skin cancer bits removed. One we biopsied last week on my right clavicle, and another one on my back, that they had removed previously, but had not gotten all of it due to it being right in the middle of one of my tattoos....so they weren't able to see the edges of it...

so anyway, the chick numbs me up (one on my back) then sticks it with the needle a couple times asks me if I can feel that. I couldn't so she left for a bit.. and i waited the normal 10-15 minutes they always keep you waiting.. dr. comes in. chat for a few, then begins his but. BAM WTF, towards the end of the cut, I was like.......whoaa, I can feel that. So he stops...jabs me a few more times, then continues on with the removal.. then i flip over and he removed the one on my clavicle.. and ended up taking a biopsy of another spot on my chest...

so let's see thats:

Removed one cancerous from forehead
Removed twice cancerous from back left shoulder
Removed one cancerous from middle of back
Removed one cancerous from right clavicle (front)
Removed one cancerous from mid stomach
Removed one cancerous from lower left stomach
Biopsy one lower left stomach... was pre-cancerous (no removal)

with the biopsy today... which odds are will be positive. I still have at least 6 spots on my back to have biopsied!!

i hope they quit finding spots soon, i'm getting kinda tired of this

Hope this is the end of it. Hang in there.

Is a paradigm worth 20 cents?

Re: back under the knife

Damn, that sucks. I hope this is the last of it.

Any idea what brought it all on? To much sun, hereditary?

Best wishes man, hope that's the last of it!

Do unto others, before some prick does it to you!

Re: back under the knife

cheers all.

doc said the majority of it is brought on by early years of sun damage... i grew up in florida.. living on the beach and doing construction... Doc said the recent flair ups can be due to stress... it lowers the body's immune system.. and since the cancer cells are already in the skin... they just kinda take over... and *poof*

Re: back under the knife

So quit stressin' already, every time you see flashing lights in your rear view. Yeah, I've been very bad to my body sun-wise also over the years - always looking for odd spots.
