[email protected] Legal departments...

edit: I just found another document that says .idx is an Outlook Express format. Can anyone verify?

from memory idx was also an outlook express file type....has something to do with the index or something.......

After a bit of a search there are a number of programs that use .idx files for indexes. There are associate with some kind of database, so you are going to need to give us a little more context to help you out..

Yep my memory was hazzy but Outlook Express 4 used them in tandem with mbx files....Outlook Express 5 onways changed to dbx files.

If thats the file you are after and you are having trouble, try using this program, saved my arse a few times

Re: File Format - .IDX???

Come to think of it, the idx file is only an index, it is only meaningful with the mdx file which contains the actual emails.......why do they only want the idx files?

So would it be squidly of me if I asked you if you've done any burnouts or how fast you've had it up to?
