Re: They should sell these at Applebee's

Talk about a huge rac o' ribs, and these are cut in half so they'd fit on the shelf in the fridge. *Gotta love mooses. *Also look at all the bags of meat in the background.

'Where's the beef?!', in my best little old granny commercial voice. So why didn't you photo the other side? That is a huge rack man, but the wrong kind of rack (nudge, nudge, wink, wink). That isn't a single person's portion is it? And, like others have asked, what's it taste like? Any other wild game comparo?

Re: They should sell these at Applebee's

I'll let ya know tomorrow what it tastes like when I grill it up. I have it all wrapped up so I'm too lazy to unwrap it to take a picture. I'll try to remember to take a picture tomorrow before I cook it!

I like venison better than moose. Moose has an....odd...taste to it. I guess there is probably a way to cook it that gets rid of the stronge gamey taste but I don't know what it is...You have to apply for and win into the Moose lottery up here in order to hunt them...

Buffalo, OTOH, is excellent!

There's a reason why we have 'STOP for MOOSE' warning signs on our interstates up here. Moose vs. vehicle collisions happen quite often and if you're in anything smaller than a tractor trailer....you lose.
