Windows help

A few questions

A) Since getting a new HD and reinstalling XP Home, whenever I try and right click a picture to save it, the only option I have is as a bitmap. If I click on the thumbnail or link and choose save target as... it works fine. Any Suggestions?

2) Since the same time, I cannot get my games to play. Specificly Battlefield 1942 or Black and White. I reinstalled them as well, and B&W wont do squat, where Battlefield will load, then right before the action starts, it kicks me back to windows.

d) I cant get Java to load on the computer. I tried to chat one night here on the site, and it would not let me get through a successfull installation of Java.

Any help would be great!
Chris

Re: Windows help

Have you done all the Windoze updates/patches? Are all the drivers correct? (right click on my computer, go to properties, hardware tab, device manager....any yellow exclamation marks?)

I have a dual boot of XP Pro and 98 for games. A lot of games will not run under XP Pro.

Yes, they do. I have to use Macs at school after years and years of using a pc at home and work.

They suck.
