Procession of the Species...

So a couple of days ago I read a newspaper article about the "Procession of the Species" parade to be held today in Bisbee, a very old mining town about 110 miles SE of Tucson. Bisbee is inhabited mostly by '60's holdovers - lots of arts/crafts shops, etc. Hm, good excuse for a ride, and it should be entertaining. Participants dress up as their favorite plant or animal . Well, suffice it to say that it was really , yet somewhat entertaining (the 2 beers on an empty stomach before the 10 AM start really helped! ). Also some pics of an outrageous trike, and the inside of the St. Elmo bar. Anyone care to venture a guess as to which St. Elmo pic is Chain's favorite?

Enjoy, or not...

Re: Procession of the Species...

Looks like you had an interesting day at the very least.

Is a paradigm worth 20 cents?

Oh, you got that right TB. Doesn't the pic of the little rug-rat with a tail look like he's about to get a good drubbing?! Hey, at least I got in a good 200+ miler today...

If there weren't on that "person" behind him, I'd swear it was a Catholic Priest out for a good time.

Re: Procession of the Species...

Oh, and on a more serious note, I forgot to add: whilst entering the freeway via a long, hard, left-hand turn at high speed, I sorta over-cooked it and lost concentratation for a sec. Next thing I knew, I was in a wobble of sorts. I'm thinking it was a result of shifting seating position, but it happened so quickly I'm not sure. All I know is, I had to change shorts when I got home . Does anyone know what I might have done wrong? Man, I gotta do a track day!

Just thought I'd add this since the "parade" isn't taking off so well

I was actually thinking it was nice of you to particpate with the festivities while you where there, but I thought i looked a little young and too tall for you

Did you by chance chop the throttle? A rapid change in body position could do it too. Hard to say. I think I hear Gratten calling you....yes, that's it!

Sounds like a good old fashioned case of rider fatigue, if you ask me.

But then again, perhaps you just suck.
