brand name car audio head units with other cd-changers?
provided that there are CD-Controls and same din-sizes.


ex. Pioneer CD head, and Sony 10disc changer

You really can't mix brands because the digital 'handshake' between the radio and other peripheral is proprietary. There are examples of different brands working together, in those cases one manufacturer builds the units. Sony does work for JVC, Blau, Denon and you see their Unilink connector on the back of their radios. I beleive Rockford and Panasonic were compatible because Panasonic builds them.
