Disclaimer: This post is obvious satire. If you're too much of a dullard to realize that, then pee off, ninny.

Re: CONCLUSION:

LOL @ Steg.

Bacchus, I initially thought about not running the disclaimer, but I knew that would have been tantamount to blasphemy here on the Org. Yet I have concluded, at least for myself, a damper doesn't necessarily need to be on my bike. After having gotten the sag and suspension sorted with help from a local racer, the bike simply doesn't misbehave anymore. For those of you who haven't measured and corrected sag before meddling with the suspension settings, I urge you to. My bike is probably 50% better today than before the work, and it cost me nothing.

You got me Skully.

Now for god's sake, somebody distract Booth before he sees this post. I won't be able to endure the trash talk he's likely to give out. * *

Edit: And for the record Skully, I have no plans on replacing the damper.

Yes, Baketech is truly dangerous. A twisted, psychotic one-track-mind knuckler, to be sure.

Um, I don't believe such an animal exists, rampant butchery of the King's English notwithstanding.

Re: CONCLUSION:

Have you noticed how many people on the forum write the word dampener when they really mean damper? Drives me nuts - sort of like when people say:
EXpresso, instead of ESpresso
EXcetera instead of ETcetera
NucUlar instead of NuclEar (even George W does that)

Okay, I'm anal - so sue me!
