Bacchus, I initially thought about not running the disclaimer, but I knew that would have been tantamount to blasphemy here on the Org. Yet I have concluded, at least for myself, a damper doesn't necessarily need to be on my bike. After having gotten the sag and suspension sorted with help from a local racer, the bike simply doesn't misbehave anymore. For those of you who haven't measured and corrected sag before meddling with the suspension settings, I urge you to. My bike is probably 50% better today than before the work, and it cost me nothing.
