Re: Pipe City

I stumbled across this website while searching for Sportech windscreens. They have pretty good prices on their stuff with shipping included. Has anyone ever purchased anything from them, and are they good to deal with?

The TB slip-on for the 600RR is pretty sweet!

Pipe City

Thanks!

Re: Pipe City

That's not a bad price for that exhaust considering that the slipon is basically a 1/2 system 'cuz it has to go down by the motor.

Re: Pipe City

I would heartily recommend doing biz with Pipe City. I got my M4 from them and they have a very nice selection of pipes, friendly and helpful customer service, and competitive pricing (which includes shipping, btw). My good buddy from Elyria (FZ pilot who made the Hoot trip with me) bought his TRS from them and has nothing but good to say.

They recently joined forces with Helmet Harbor. Both excellent companies.

Edit: If you're after a pipe for your bike, one that's not listed for your machine, call them up. They'll likely be able to get it for you.

Re: Pipe City

Thanks Chain! I was hoping to hear good things about them. I was actually thinking about the Sportech windscreen, and then keeping them in mind for an exhaust and other goodies down the road. The windscreen is of the chrome variety. Flame away!

Have any of you seen one of the chrome screens on a 954? I was thinking red chrome or black chrome to go with my red/black 954.

Chain, which M4 did you get, and what did you pay for it? Did you compare prices with Motoshaq? They supposedly have the best prices around on M4.

Re: Pipe City

The guys at Pipe City are great, they are about 10 miles from my house and everyone is really easy going. Don't hesitate about buying from them!

He's friend of mine here in the Valley of the Sun. You shouldn't have a problem. Ask for Ron, he's the owner.

I got the high-polish aluminum for $301 shipped to my door. I'm very happy with it. If I could post in the Product Reviews folder, I'd do a write-up on the can, but for some reason I've not been able to post there for a couple weeks.

Re: Pipe City

I'll post some in the next few days. I'm totally swamped with work and things going on at the house. I've not even had time to ride...

Soon though.

I'll third the other two locals to say they're good people, you shouldn't have any problems buying from them.

Re: Pipe City

Well, I ordered the bling bling Sportech red chrome windscreen from Pipe City today. It's supposed to be back in stock with Parts Unlimited today, but it will probably take a few days before they can get it to the shop for shipment to me. $70 delivered. I hope it looks as cool as I think it will. If I ever get the new camera software fixed, I'll attempt to post pics of the new windscreen. I love the new camera, but I havn't been able to print anything yet, because of some issues with the computer and the software.

Wish me luck!
