Re: I told myself it wouldn't be like the 929,

I promised myself that I wouldn't start buying a bunch of stuff for my new bike like I did for the 929. But today I ordered a rear shock for the ST1300. It comes with a remote hydrolic preload, fully adjustable compression and rebound dampning, and hight adjustment. To my door it runs $909.00. Not as bad as the Ohlines but expensive none the less. This is only the second thing I have bought for this bike. The first was a Hondaline Top Box that was only available in Europe. I guess I should take a pic to show how nice it looks with the top box. I'll try later tonight.

Re: I told myself it wouldn't be like the 929,

I don't think there is a bike made that a guy who's passionate about riding wouldn't/couldn't modify.

Sounds like a nice piece, Ned.

Re: I told myself it wouldn't be like the 929,

I just now bought a seat cowl for my 954 through Ron Ayers. As much money as I keep throwing into my bikes and gear, I never get tired of spending it. Just tired of watching it disappear!!

By the way, Ron Ayers by far cheaper on the Honda seat cowl than anyone else! God bless 'em
