Re: Pamplona Poosies

What a joke....the damn bulls get screwed in this deal because they can't get traction on the cobblestones....

I think that Pirelli should have the bulls shod with some nice Diablo rubber shoes....

Re: Pamplona Poosies

Just went back to the OLN network and they were showing the latest Pamplona BS. *What is the point? *I am more macho than you? *I really enjoyed watching a few of the idiots getting gored/trampled. *A guy was being interviewed in a hospital and was actually proud of his wounds - what a dipstick. *The only thing that would make it a better spectacle would be to see someone on a 929/954 doing a burnout on the fallen runner's neck * . *Fooking idiots!

Edited typo...

Re: Pamplona Poosies

2OH....thats hilarious...but the one with the red shoes is a bit disturbing....

I agree with you B...my wife is in Spain right now, she passed on the chance to watch the lunacy. A lot of these things end in the somewhat gruesome killing of the bulls...but true to form of Western journalism, they don't show us that part....

Re: Pamplona Poosies

Could of been worse, that guy could of been getting head smacked by one of the naked activist that ran last week in protest.

I've been to a few of these. It is awesome to watch these things come pounding down the street. Had a guy in my command get gored, wasn't pretty. The Navy took care of him, then put out the word, 'you go, you get hurt, you are on your own'. One buddy got pinned in a phone booth, bull was so pissed it turned over a car right into the booth. He got out, unscathed.

I give the Spanish and other Nations credit, they don't cave into the pressure of other societies. In the Navy we have given up a lot of traditions or modified them so to not offend people, even those not invovled. Whooops, off the soap box...

This is blast though, the party is amazing, then there is always the Senoritas... oh man... the memories...
