To the optimist, the glass is half full. To the pessimist, the glass is half empty. To the engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

Letterman, by the way, has a different theory. He does not believe Ken Jennings is a robot. "I just can't help wondering," Letterman said last week, "if something's going on between Alex and Ken."

Re: Jeopardy Champion

That is crazy, they must be feeding him the questions before hand. That is nuts!

Be fast or be last.

Re: Jeopardy Champion

They talk about him pretty much nightly on the news here, as he's a local.
The shows were all taped a while back, and he's finished and back home, but he's not saying how many shows or how much money he won.

Well that sucks. I guess we know that he eventually loses. Bummer. I liked the suspense of not knowing.

Re: Jeopardy Champion

Bored of making 30 grand a day? I don't think so. That's a pretty awesome career if he could make it stick for good.

Re: Jeopardy Champion

Anyone watch it tonight? The guy Ken Jennings got the daily double in double jeopardy in the category Flowers. He says "Well, I don't know much about flowers but I'll bet $5,000 anyway." He got the question right. I was laughing so hard. What a dick!

Re: Jeopardy Champion

Oh yeah, and he said he was a double major in English and Computer Science but went back to school for the computer science degrees because "English majors just end up starving to death when they get done with school." Hehehe.... Arrogant rich bastard.

Re: Jeopardy Champion

$600k is not close to rich in my terms. I'd still have to go to work every day.

IMO, $5mil and up is rich.
