Look Ma, my very own UAV

...it's sad that one of the first things I thought of when I was that was 'hmm, that might make a decent terror weapon', and 'Homeland Security's gonna be all over that thing'

Re: Huge RC Plane

I saw video of that thing flying somewhere. Actually has 8 jet engines. The builders name is Gordon Nichol.

Edit: Derp, didn't see the "link" of it flying in this thread

Re: Huge RC Plane

Whoa thats nice
The thing that makes me chuckle about these models is that if if weighs more than 22Kg ya have to get the Civil Aviation Authority involved because it then counts as a light aircraft here in england
Fancy ya own Rc fighter aircraft try

Re: Huge RC Plane

That's awesome. Anyone else been to Ida Grove, IA? A guy built basically a mini-airport for RC planes. They do WWII reenactments and everything.

Re: Huge RC Plane

A remotely controlled jet powered vehicle capable of shutting down a major highway and it's still airborne?

Re: Huge RC Plane

I'm surprised the RAF hasn't signed him up. We don't have any heavy bombers anymore. Victor, Vulcan and Valiant all long gone

Re: Huge RC Plane

Bubba, I do hope your're joking. How could you wish that? Thousands of hours of work wrecked. I'd cry not laugh.
