Inexpensive travel

Where's a good place to get plane tickets/car rental? I've heard of all the travelocity/orbitz and the like places, but are they trustworthy enough?

I'm going on vacation in November(FL) and I need to find some reasonably priced fares. With the way gas prices are and the mileage my truck gets, plus the 3 days I'd spend driving there/back it's better to fly & rent a cage.

Looking for input...

Just for the record, it's fun to say Expedia.com the way they do on the commercials.
Yes, they are all reliable - except the nigerian travel site.

www.southwest.com for airfare. They go from Cleveland to Ft. Lauderdale. You can probably find round trip for less than $200 if you keep checking the deals.

Yep, we fly from Raleigh to Ft Lauderdale on AirTran, and it usually runs ~$200 Round Trip. (Stops in Atlanta on the way.)
