20 questions (smart computer!)

This thing can guess almost anything as long as you know the right information about what you are thinking of. It will tell you that you are wrong at the end if you lie to it. It will even guess abstract things.

http://y.20q.net:8095/btest?Ig2_zI.Lokzhjejh1N6X5

I was able to get it to run up to 23 questions on a large African rodent called a Capybara.

To the optimist, the glass is half full. To the pessimist, the glass is half empty. To the engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

Took 18 to guess a grain of sand. But it didn't say "grain of sand", just "sand".

Re: 20 questions (smart computer!)

It couldn't get sperm. I classified it as an animal, and it guessed lingerie and then gold, diamond, give up.
Some of the questions had me laughing.

Re: 20 questions (smart computer!)

It couldn't get "Peace." Abstract idea.

------------------------------------------------------

You were thinking of peace.
Can you use it at school? You said Irrelevant, I say Yes.
Can you control it? You said Yes, I say No.
Is it used by the police? You said Yes, I say No.
Do you use it in public? You said Yes, I say No.
Is it used in a sport? You said Yes, I say No.

It does not matter if our answers disagree, as over time the game will change its answers to reflect common knowledge. If you feel that the game is in error, the only way to fix it is to play again.

Re: 20 questions (smart computer!)

I picked a stye, as I woke with one on my eyelid this morning. At 29 guesses the computer guessed pimple which I accepted as a similar answer, and at the bottom of the page it gave me questionable "uncommom knowledge about a pimple." I laughed though when I read the second line from the bottom.

Uncommon Knowledge about a pimple
Can you play with it? I say Yes.
Is it shiny? I say Probably.
Is it tapered? I say Probably.
Is it used for transportation? I say Probably.
Is it spontaneous? I say Yes.
Does it have scales? I say Probably.
Is it black and white? I say Probably.
Can you speak into it? I say Probably.
Can you mash it? I say Yes.
Is it native to Asia? I say Probably.
Is it spotted? I say Probably.
Does it have tough skin? I say Probably.
Is it fluffy? I say Yes.
Does it have spots? I say Yes.
Is it used in Oriental cooking? I say Yes.
Does it have bumpy skin? I say Yes.

Re: 20 questions (smart computer!)

ROFL. I tried to have it guess "cockring" -- some highlights:

-- Would you find it on a farm? (no)
-- Is it comforting? (irrelevant)

Final guess:
"I am guessing that it is a pearl necklace" ---

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

And finally....

"Similar Objects
a diamond ring, a thimble, a platinum ring, a pearl necklace, a ring, a pentacle, tap shoes, an engagement ring, a medal, jacks (child's game), a melon baller, a pizza cutter."

A melon baller.... !!!! hahahaaaaa
