I drove one of those for a month during my last month in Germany (I had already shipped my car to the US). It's called a Smart. Pretty neat little car, and was good enough for 99% of my driving needs. Mine was the 1 liter turbo model. Wish I had known more about turbo modding then, would've made it even more fun

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was paint (or a decal at least). Smarts can be had in all kinds of configurations. Here are some samples:

I've seen a smart car in Macau when I visited there 2 yrs ago. Definitely one of the most desired vehicles for me. I love small dinky li'l cars. I'd buy a Mini Cooper S if I dind't already have my GTI.
