ok I'm gonna commandeer this thread since its a repost.

I'm gonna ask Code, how would you know about the driving a hearse in the carpool lane and still getting a ticket? did you really think a dead person would work. you shoulda sat him up and put him in the passenger seat, that probably woulda worked.

my boss once told me a story about how he took the truck into the carpool lane, he figured he had someone with him and its only a panel truck, not very big at all, no cdl required so it should be ok. but no he got pulled over and the cop asked him how they would tow him out if he broke down so he said "the same way you town a bus out." the cop didn't like that and kept him there for about an hour. he must have really felt stupid after he asked that and got a good answer.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

You are considered cargo when you are dead. That's what the judge said. Not a moving violation.
