Bad taste? Nothing unethical or illegal is depicted in my new avatar.

What gives?

You look scary (nuts, ****ed up, agressive, sadam, satan) in that pic just doesn't mach up with the image I had of you in my head (protect and serve anti stunter, anti trak days, a little on the girly side )

don't shoot me!

No seriously I don't think it is proper for a cop to have that kind of avatar.

Maybe I am on the girly side who knows...

What are we supposed to think about it? Your'e supposed to look tuff, with a big busa and all?

As I said before you scare me as a cop that's nothing but my 2cents

Just ride like everyone is out there to kill you!!!

Busas and guns go well together, just drop in on the thugs at LA Busas and you'll see.

What?- can't a guy have a few beers on his day off, let his hair down a little, play with his guns, that sort of thing? Constant ridicule, I'm tellin ya.

Not a problem mate, I respect your opinion.

I'm typically the most friendly cop you'll ever meet, that is unless you're a dope dealer, gang member, predatory street criminal or other sundry dreg lurking in and around my hometown. Then I'm, well, something less than Welcome Wagon, but hey, we gotta do what we gotta do, know what I'm saying?

Ok if you say so my freind,

I just like teasing you, it's easy in front of a keybord dono if I would do the same if I was in the room where you took that pic

I would probably just jump on the blade and not worry about the milles it has racked up nor the marble sound in the engine, I may even wish I had a busa

Just ride like everyone is out there to kill you!!!

Oh yes, I'm sure of it. None of us speed on these things, never-ever.

That's okay, find yourself in Oh-me-haw and I pull in behind you, it's a freebie get out of jail pass. Haven't written a motorcyclist whose stopped for me in over ten years and I'm not about to start.

Hahaaaaaaaaaaaaa... Chain, I can't believe your new avatar caused such a stir! At any rate, you apparently got a lot of 'splainin' to do from here on out.... Have fun with it.

Hope never to have to take you up on that but I will be in Nebraska one day as part of my ride all 48 project (currently at 10) And running is out of the question, a high speed ticket would bite but a fleeing would end my career or at least require me to change industries

Sure, a time or two. We've got helos now (unlike the days of old when I began my career, circa 1988) and you're not going to outrun one of them, not even on a busa. Radio waves are pretty fast too, doncha know. And when you run, you get no breaks. Well, maybe your arm or something but.....

Kidding aside, I've stopped some guys doing incredibly stupid things in traffic, on motorcycles, and if they pull over they don't get written. Period. I choose to educate rather than make the judges rich.

Besides, if the compelling public safety interest is making the roads safer through preventive patrol and enforcement, I think giving a guy a break goes further toward that goal anyway. Not only does the motorist typically slow down after the stop (just as if he'd been given a ticket), but I curry some favor with him and he sees that cops aren't all jackbooted thugs bent on making quota.

Good for everyone involved AFAIC.

I had a busa wheelie pic a few days ago, but I got spanked for that.

We'll see how long this little faux mercenary deal lasts, lol.
