A tale too funny not to share

Well this is too funny not to share to the world, this is by far the stupidest thing I have ever done and the most embarassing.

WARNING: Do not read while drinking anything you may spit it out on to your computer.

So I went to the bookstore at good old Ghetto-U and grabbed the books I needed then proceeded to go stand in line to pay. As soon as I reached the back of the line I turned around to read the signs above each section of books just to be sure I didnt forget any classes. Every few seconds I glanced out of the corner of my eye to see if the line had moved.... Well after a few mins of not making any progress I looked at my watch and thought "man this is taking forever" then turned to look what the hold up was, I was shocked when I turned and noticed I had been standing in line behind a mannequin and the line had moved quite a ways up.

So I turned back around and saw all the people at the "Information" desk looking at me and knew I had to say something so I said "man this dummy aint goin nowhere" then walked around it to the back of the line.

To top it off I went back to the bookstore a few days later and as I walked by the mannequin I saw it didnt even have a head just a baseball cap on its neck and the hood of the sweatshirt folded forward.

Re: A tale too funny not to share

Poor Mr.X. When he told me about this on an IM, he warned me to put any beverage down. I am so glad he did. Let me just say...."You'll have to excuse my friend, he's a little slow." It's not that he dumb he just book smart, sometimes the little common sense things seem to slip through the cracks. Even still this makes me laugh my azz off. I told just about everyone I know and I haven't seen some of friends laugh that hard..EVER.

You sound like a large handful of my friends!! That was some funny stuff! Pretty clever comeback to get your a$$ outta the fire too. Hey, now that I got a bike again, we gotta go riding sometime before the season ends X. I remember talkin about it a long long time ago, but then I lost the 929.
