Re: Bump & Grind in Cali?

That's weird...we felt the one earlier this year out by Hearst castle or wherever that one was, but didn't feel this one which was quite a bit closer....

Re: Bump & Grind in Cali?

Yep, just a tiny bit, just one back and forth motion. I'm about 140 miles from the epicenter. I second guessed myself actually until I saw this thread...

Edit: To add, that wasn't a BIG quake by any standard except someone who doesn't live in an earthquake area.

True...5.9 isn't big. I've only lived here for a couple years and the 4 that was located about 3 miles away last year felt plenty weird. Didn't scare us. Felt pretty neat. Almost felt like I was sitting on a rocking waterbed

They've had quite a few aftershocks after the initial 5.9

Re: Bump & Grind in Cali?

Still listed as 5.9 in this list....scroll down through the aftershocks to the first one of the day.

Re: Bump & Grind in Cali?

I felt it down on the LA / Ventura county line.

Was on the phone in a meeting and felt the roll. Reminded me of being a young boy in the back of the station wagon going over rolling hills.... "Did you feel that!" Tickles the nads

Never trust a big butt and a smile...

Re: Bump & Grind in Cali?

A very slow roll down here, only felt it if you were sitting down.
