Hooligan Friends?

Anyone else have a few hooligan friends that you don't see very often, but when you do, you are inclined to run amok and ride like a total idiot...

Just when I think I am doing well, I realize my evolution is far from complete...

To a degree. The guys I ride with when I get down there run a little faster then me since up till now I had the Seca II.. Since getting the RC though I find myself joining in and doing all the stupid **** when I ride with them. Its contagious

Re: Hooligan Friends?

after seeing a few too many serious wrecks in the past 2 years and losing 3 friends to bike accidents i am very picky as to who i ride with... my riding group dropped for 20+ to about 3 and i love it this way... i dont have to round the next corner anymore wondering which one of my buddies has crashed out... i cant deal with that again so i guess ive grown up alot.

but i must agree it was contagious to a point...

I don't kill flies but I like to mess with their minds. I hold them above globes. They freak out and yell, 'Whoa, I'm way too high!'

This doesn't have anything to do with our plans to burn up the Kentucky backroads this weekend, does it?

I'll be a good little sport tourer.. I'm bringing the VFR.

If you get a bit further south let me know and I can recommend some in Middle TN (as I am sure others can also) Unfortunately my new tire is in NC tonight so there might be no riding for me this weekend on the CBR (but the Ascot has fresh rubber)

And yes the hooligan is my brother His wife to be one time banned us going anywhere unsupervised. But he has no sport bike so I am safe.

Must obey the sheep dog

Re: Hooligan Friends?

Seriously, crashing sucks, and we have to be strong enough individuals to ride accordingly, despite what our hooligan buddies are doing.

LOL....

As you know, for the most part I am generally in control of myself.

It's weird though, there are only a couple of these guys that bring out the inner-retard. It's not even a conscious thing....it's just that when we get together we revert to the "glory days" I guess....

Now that I know you are bringing the VFR, I guess I have to ride the 929...

Re: Hooligan Friends?

Seen too much crap to allow other riders to influence me. I've ridden with people that I respect that bring their squid friends... I make up an excuse like "work paged me, gotta go in" and I bounce. I'd rather stay away from tickets, accidents, and death and ride when I'm an old man like Bake
