Maxthon

If you like the Tabbed interface of FireFox, but want to use IE, Maxthon works well. (Has lots of other stuff built into it too.)

Re: Maxthon

looks interesting. I have been hooked on firefox since I tried it a few weeks ago.

I guess you have tried it? Is it worth the try over firefox?

I am gonna have to download it and play with it then... fire fox is sweet but there are some things about IE I just like. This seems like the best of both of both worlds

Nope just like a Honda does what you want, high quality and smooth

I fix stuff for the PC and UNIX folks all the time. And did I mention no known viruses yet. And uptimes of 19 days, 12 days, and 33 days for my fleet with all reboots being due to applying system updates. No crashes in ages.

Re: Maxthon

My iBook locked up/crashed several times during the 2 weeks that I had it. But, the software support and speed just weren't there for me. For the same price I paid for the iBook, I got a windows notebook that smokes it.

Always been totally an IE guy but started messing around with firefox after reading a few posts about it here and love it.
I just downloaded maxthon to mess around with it but it just looks a little cluttered with info. We shall see how it goes but for now I still like firefox

You can turn all that stuff off. It's highly configurable. I have it laid out almost exactly like FireFox now.

(I'm sure IE7 will have tabbed browsing + more, so this will do until then.)

Hmmm maybe your lack of wool .....

I love mine since I can develop for UNIX/Linux/Windows/Mac mostly on one machine and the graphical stuff rocks. Also I love the ability to run UNIX freeware apps in parallel to 'normal' stuff. The music stuff is getting slick but I am rhythm challenged so I don't benefit like I want.

But to each his own.
