4 year anniversary, what 2 do??

Ok, tomorrow (today) is our 4 year anniversary. We don't have any money to spend since we are saving every last cent and dollar for a down payment for a house. I am dying because I have always found the perfect gift for her but this year I just can't think of anything since I can't spend any money. I need to do something super special for her and I can't think of it. It has to be inexpensive yet meaningful. I know, this sounds retarded because I shouldn't have to ask you if it's meaningful but for once I'm stumped. The usual flowers and crap isn't gonna cut it. The only thing I can think of is a romantic late night picnic by the reservoir near our house. Get a bit of music going, some candles, flowers, and a bit of Italian food. All I have to do is get a friend to help out with getting everything ready.

Damn, I hate being in love and caring so damn much. What can I do to make her so happy??

Romantic stuff, personally prepared so that she knows you put the effort and thought in, is always as good as an expensive gift .

You got it already so what the problem. We did that for our 1 yr since I wasnt working. Simple romantic night out was the best idea I ever had

<Gay moment> Not to sound sappy but being in love kick major ass once you found the right one <end gay moment>

Re: 4 year anniversary, what 2 do??

With my travelling, work schedule, my wife gets upset from time to time with me. Birthdays, anniversariesare when I build credit for when I really piss her off. I would, buy a good bottle of wine. Make her dinner, but make sure it's something you made for her in the beginning when you were out to impress her, she'll remember. For after dinner, go to the book store and buy a book on massage, also rent a video. leave the book on the coffee table so when you go to watch the movie she notices. Get her favorite lotion/creme and give her a massage. (you don't have to read the book if you've done everything else right to this point). Then, do what comes naturally and enjoy the breakfast she makes you the next morning.

Wine $50
cook dinner $30
book $10
Video $3 (unless you own one already that is fitting)
Lotion/Oil $ free, supplied by her

For less than $100 you should have a memorable anniversary, and if you eventually read the book in the bathroom later you might learn something too.

Good stuff... also like the part about the breakfast in the morning although I usually pass up on that for some IHOP. Hate cleaning up the breakfast mess

I guess that depends on your performance. I don't do dishes or laundry.

I cook but the dishwasher does the dishes... Laundry is another story, I can but choose not to (usually)
