Re: our justice system ?

Not saying beating her was EVER right, but once the cops got there and beat the guy down, cuff'd him, etc, her chance to fight back was over. That enters into a "deadly force" realm that states the threat was over, she could no longer defend herself with force. The dude was in handcuffs, subdued and in police custody, threat gone...

Now, some scumbag lawyer will probably get the dude off all together from beating her down and disconnecting an eye socket, but thats another whole travesty in itself...

I can see your point that once the cops got there she should have just let it go but I can also see how the adrenaline must have been pumping in her as well.

Sucks ass though that now there is a good chance he will get away with it

Re: our justice system ?

Yeah big tough woman hitting a cuffed man. Where were her balls when she was taking the shots? Personally, good to see justice come through on this one. Hey, it ain't right she took the beating but... she ain't got no place hittin' someone else and thinking she was gonna get away with it. Especially with POPO sitting right there. Dumbazz....

Re: our justice system ?

I remember this story a couple of weeks ago. It was big news where I live. That article did not give complete details.

It seems that when they were going to charge this man for the beating of this woman. She would not press charges. She said that she still loves this guy. The DA was pissed. He could do anything to the guy if she did not press charges. As for her story, she assaulted her boyfriend in front of officers while in their custody. This is a valid offence. They have to prosecute her. As well they should. Being stupid has a price. If someone beats you down, that person needs to pay the penalty.

This sounds about like I'd expect.

She deserved what she got. She was no longer defending herself anyway. Stupid hurts.
