HK USP owners

Sound off.

What you got? Chain, if he'd come back, would be proud for me looking past glocks I think!

As of friday, I should be the proud owner of a HK USP 45 full size.

Getting it used from a friend in excellent condition, its never seen a holster!

Re: HK USP owners

I have the full-size .45 as well. It's my "house" gun, fitted with an Insight Technologies tactical light mounted on the frame rail, and stoked with Winchester Black Talons.

In a world of let downs, I knew I could count on you pete!

Being that its my friends, I have 100rounds through it already myself. I had to adapt a little to it to shoot it after shooting glocks for so long, but once I did, I was tearing one hole 10 shot mags!

love it! who else!?

Re: HK USP owners

Funny story, but still a thead jack:

My dad and I took the necessary class to get CCW. Part of the "test" was being able to put 20/25 shots into the inner ring of a paper plate from 15 feet.

Dad and I, w/ our 1911's each made one big hole in our plates! The instructor held them up and said "How the hell am I supposed to score THAT!"

Yea, we were proud of ourselves.

Re: HK USP owners

okay,

I got it last friday. Let me say, this is the sweetest piece of candy next to Tigerblade that I have ever seen!

Bottom line, I love it. Looking to get a P2000 .40 LEM or a USPc V1 in .40 in the next few months. Not sure what to do with my Glock, I got too good of a deal on it to sell it, so what to do, what to do... (It's a G32 with night sites, BTW)

My friend gets his HK USP Tactical 45 this weekend. Can't wait to send some rounds downrange with that bad boy! I WILL HAVE a USP .45 Expert as well. Gotta have that tack driving and reliable range gun, plus I can't have my friend "one upping" me now can I?! LOL

Yes, bitten by the HK USP bug I have.

Re: HK USP owners

I hereby dub thee "Permanent Cavity Pete"

Aren't those LEO only bullets Pete?

edit: forgot the original point: I'm not a gun nut per se, but the USP is one of the reasons I got my CCW, nevermind the mk23 or tac..mmm. Congrats CC!
(still haven't followed through on getting any of the above....yet).

Re: HK USP owners

Got a Jarvis 6" match barrel for my USP .45 as well as a HK match weight to go with it. That combined with the O-ring barrel made for one hell of a tack driver this weekend.

Had the stuff for about 1.5 months, but just got around to shooting it on saturday. Wow do I ever still love my USP.

Should find myself in a IDPA class in the coming weeks...

IDPA stuff is fun, fun ,fun! It's amazing what you learn by just shooting a few courses of fire.
