investment strategy

for those who have 401's and the like ...

what percent of your income do you contribute? ALSO do you contribute fully to a ROTH or Traditional IRA?

AND for those that do any of the above - what percentage do you dump into ESPP's?

UNLESS....that puts you over the max yearly contribution...in which case you are losing money. If you feel you are near that line, calculate your contribution to take full advantage of the match. Anything in excess that you were prepared to allocate should be used to purchase an IRA...

Re: investment strategy

15% to 401k and then I max my Roth every year.

To the optimist, the glass is half full. To the pessimist, the glass is half empty. To the engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
