Honda RidgeLine

whadda you guys(and ladies as well) think about Honda's foray into the truck/SUT arena? I kinda like it. It looks a bit different...It appears that it will have the new V6 engine that's in the '05 Odyessy(sp?) and Pilots....I'd like to see maybe a side-step also....thinking about trading our '03 Pilot on something else...The site says we'll have more details in January....

Re: Honda RidgeLine

Reminds me of the Avalanche, but even more funky.

The side view of that...thing...makes one wonder, "which direction is it going."

Re: Honda RidgeLine

The new Honda truck, and the Element, are about as appealing as a Pontiac Aztec. I hope whoever does their car/truck styling stays the hell away from the motorcycle side of the business.

Aesthetically, ick.

Is a paradigm worth 20 cents?

They were already there! Then they were bootted after coming up with the Aprilia Futura. Now we now where they ended up.

Re: Honda RidgeLine

A REALLY ugly Element. Which means, it's pretty much the ugliest vehicle I've ever seen.

Re: Honda RidgeLine

I guess its pretty good for a first try. I assume it'll compete with the Tacoma and the rangers of the world...

If they wanna get serious about trucks, I'm looking to get another pseudo full size in 2 years.

well as long as it looks like a silverado without all the body clading then its cool. does it have the "brace" type things from the back of the cab down onto the bedrail?

Re: Honda RidgeLine

I kinda like it. Oddly enough I don't like the look of the Element that much or the Avalanche. Really hate the Aztec. I think part of me likes it just 'cause it says Honda.

This pic actually doesn't do it justice b/c I put the step rails. I'm rushed right now, I'll take a pic later.
