Re: T-mobile

If you're looking for new cellular service, the guys I work with have had nothing but good things to say about Verizon. One of which doesn't even have a land line, and uses his cell for everything.

Re: T-mobile

T-Moblie around where I live is terrible. It seems to work in the cities (Norfolk, VA Beach) but once you leave, forget it. Verizon is pretty much the only choice for me

Re: T-mobile

I wouldn't be looking for new service if it weren't for work. I have Cingular and I'm very happy, however my boss decided that we all need Blackberry's. Funny thing is, we have to buy the phone(which is fine) but as of now it looks like we have to switch to T-mobile because the systems admin has it and he said he doesn't wanna switch And it's very important for all of us to be on the same network so we can get free calls between ourselves, which is valid. My thing is, I don't want to carry 2 phones around like I do now. I'll be happy to buy the Blackberry but I'm really not too excited about moving to a different provider, especially T-mobile. I've heard of too many unhappy people in this area.

Re: T-mobile

Verizon will most likely be the one we go with once our contract with Sprint is up.

Re: T-mobile

I know what you mean with that...we just got Nextel phones (they suck too btw) so I'm starting to look like Nick Burns with 2 phones on my belt. Don't know why the boss picked Nextel as we have a limited # of PTT minutes and cell minutes where with Verizon we'd have had unlimited minutes phone to phone and it would actually get service out here in the boonies.

Re: T-mobile

My girl and I are now going on a year of T-Mobile in the Central Va area and it's been pretty good.
However, I do not think that they are off the beaten path too much.
Meaning straying from major highways and cities. There are a few parks I mt bike in that I can not get service, yet with my old carrier I could.
That said, when their signal is strong, it's on spot.
This is the first coverage I have had that I can make calls from w/in my apt with full bars on the phone. Cingular, Nextel, and At&t barely made the phone ring let alone trying to call out. I always had to go outside to use the cell.

Hope that helps.

Re: T-mobile

I've had them since January, and am very happy with the phone service, and customer service. There are no local cells, so I piggyback onto Cingular, at no extra cost. My bill is $52 a month, and includes 600 anytime minutes, evenings, weekends, long distance, phone insurance, etc.

Look at Cingular's coverage as well when considering t-mobile. Also, Amazon has some great deals on t-mobile, so check them out first.

Re: T-mobile

Verizon, travelled to many track days and have had excellent service everywhere! Even the data service on the Treo600 is fast!
