Re: Me want

Unless the dept will let you modify it, you'll be greatly disappointed. I can't see you having that without being able to change exhausts on it every 3 weeks.

I don't know what the hell you're talking about - I'm an OEM exhaust sort of guy.

At least the tax payers in Omaha will get to know if what they paid for sounds good or not.

Re: Me want

5 or 6 years ago Dodge had a new Charger prototype that they said would be available in 2004 and be made ideal for police packages. but that never happened, too bad cause it looked awesome. I thought it was a 2 door but it was a 4. Guess they stuck with the police market idea.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

Re: Me want

The Charger will be here in a few months. It's not exactly like the 1999 concept car, but is built off the same LX platform as the 300C and Magnum.
It's supposed to be just a tad shorter than the 300, and have a more "coupe like" roofline and shape, while still being a sedan. Oh, and an "old-school shark nose" like the new 'stang. A new loaded Hemi Charger ~$30K
The official Chrysler rendering and spy shots are the main reason I decided against the Legacy GT a couple weeks ago (that and a couple nitpicks that I couldn't get over).

These are the best ones available at the time, but there have been Chrysler peeps pretty much confirm them on various boards. For now it's wait and see. The real car will be shown in January at the NAIAS.

the original concept was much sleeker looking. I liked it a lot better. Why wouldn't they just use an enclosed trailer to transport them, be even more stealth. Volvos and BMWs and other high end cars use enclosed trailers just for transporting their production cars.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.
