I have the one my Dad gave me many years ago. My last name is Martin, from the original Irish "O'Martin". Damn, I gotta get a scanner... 
edit: Wait, here it is - I actually dug it up from the move. Forgot about the digicam.
re-edit: Dayum, I didn't realize those feisty Irish were cowboys. Never really noticed the spur before.

I have found a site that will get me the crest and a nice history. I called the guy and talked with him a bit. I guess we have 20 or so crests for our family, but they use the oldest. works for me!

They're for spurring a horse into battle...common on all suits of armor.
