Off-roading bling bling?

Here's a couple of pics from a friend that works at WARN. Evidently someone needed a little something special for their Jeep and plated a 9.5 Ti winch in 24k gold.

Why not?

Just to go out and beat up?! I guess it's just another status symbol. And yes, I'm jealous that I don't have the bucks to throw away on that kind of ****.

I'm with you. It looks good, but doesn't make a bit of sense.

But I guess many would say the same to many of us. It's almost the same look as I get when I shoot off the flame throwers on my truck People ask why and I simply say, becuase I can!!!

Uh, that thing couldn't pull bullshit out of CB1600's mouth.
First it was ruined with that hideous plating, then they further rendered it useless by ditching the steel rope and hook it came with and replaced it with some cloth rope (it looks like a nylon) with a namby-pamby hook.
Definately went on an H2.

It actually went on a Jeep Wrangler. Not sure if it's a show vehicle though. I'll see if I can get more info.
