Truly a mega-disaster! Mother Nature rules, at times, unfortunately. Any links as to where to donate? Those poor people are in a world of hurt!

Re: TSUNAMI DISASTER

Unbelievable devastation. The latest reports say the death toll could reach 100,000. Epidemics could kill thousands more. Truly an historical natural disaster...

Words can not describe my thoughts on this subject... A true natural disaster with a loss of human life in numbers that boggles the mind.

Action speaks louder than words anyway... I've made my donation, have you?

Re: TSUNAMI DISASTER

Here are some shots which give you an idea of the power of the waves. It isn't just that they are around 6m high but that they are more like a fast moving tide than a normal wave. I guess that's why they are called tidal waves.
More to follow.

Re: TSUNAMI DISASTER

Do not worry for some of us have made more then one donation & will probably kick in more along with our annual % to something like the Heart & Cancer Funds we always donate to.

Obviously it will be a year plus before many of these people are with proper shelter, supply of fresh water, food, & sanitation let alone a way to make a minor income.

Also we understand the losses of some to their loved ones & the personal injuries some have suffered.

Here in Cdn, & imagine some of the other countries in the world will do the same, they are going to make it easier for Cdns (especially those related), of same nationality in birth & religion, to adopt children lost over in said disaster areas & bring them to Cdn with love & care they will need.

Remember all the others on the road are crazy & out to kill you.
